Most of the kids who wear the Aeropostale shirt don’t even know where the name came from. It’s from a defunct French airmail service.
Here’s my version created on 6/29/08. As far as I know, I created the first parody on this topic. I’m betting my last dollar I’ll either be ripped off by another T-shirt designer or sued by Aeropostale, Inc. for making fun of them! Grab one now before they are gone.

Most people see forgiveness like an ongoing love-hate affair. They cannot make up thier minds to forgive someone. It’s a tug of war that basically says that you are in charge and are also being manipulative of the other persons release.
People can go two ways regarding forgiveness. Look at it like a light switch. There’s the on and off click style and there is the dimmer switch style. Most people take the long and winding road of forgiving over time. I call this the dimmer switch approach. You don’t see clearly or the full light of the situation for many agonizing years.
As I matured, I studied what made people tick, thier history and upbringing. Once I could feel their pain and and thier disfunction it then became easy for me to understand their actions. I then learned overnight how to forgive like the other kind of light switch, the click on and off style of light. When I make up my mind to feel their pain instead of my hurt, I forgave them overnight. Click, lights out! Forgiveness on the hurry up I call it.
If you can honestly say you forgave someone, mean it without too much fanfare! Never use it as a tool to gloat. Silently know that your are growing and maturing into a better person. If you are reminded of the hurt and ponder it for sixty seconds and not get angry, then you get the prize of being a self taught wise, compassionate person. Start forgiving today with a new outlook.
